(Violin/Fiddle) In her hometown of Topeka, Kansas, Alicia began taking violin lessons at the age of 3 and became the Concertmaster of the Topeka Symphony Youth Orchestra while in the 8th grade. She completed her junior year at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music where she was a Dean's List Scholar with a Major in Violin Performance with Professor Chris Teal and a Minor in Human Organizational Development. She has performed in several master classes for artists such as James Ehnes and the Ethel String Quartet as well as receiving numerous awards and honors for her music including soloing with the Vanderbilt Orchestra (of which she was also concertmaster) and the Topeka Symphony Youth Orchestra. Alicia has performed with other various college groups and also studies jazz and fiddle performance. She attended the Henry Mancini Institute, as well as, the Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory and the Sunflower Music Festival - Bryden Institute. Athletically, Alicia was a part of the State Champion High School Soccer Team and was a State Girls' Golf medallist. When seeing Barrage perform in Disney World she was in grade school. Alicia said that that was something that she wanted to do….and now she is!
