(Violin/Fiddle/Assistant Artistic Director)

A native of England, Matt was first introduced to the violin at the age of four. He studied the Suzuki violin method for about eleven years and eventually led the Salford Youth Orchestra. Following this, Matt took up the guitar, piano and the drums which led to extensive work in rock, pop and punk bands. He was in the middle of a BMus in violin performance at the University of Huddersfield when he left to join Barrage. Matt is now one of the longest standing members of Barrage and still finds time for occasional Kung Fu practice.
