Naseem began playing the violin at the age of four under the Suzuki method. Since then she has won numerous solo and composition competitions in her home state of Texas. In 2005, she earned a music degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Mediterranean Cultures. She has recorded with multi-Grammy winning producer KC Porter and has performed with well-known Persian artists Rahmatollah Badiyi and Farzad, and Chinese erhuist Lin Cheng. Naseem has sung and performed numerous instruments in many different styles including Brazilian, Persian, Latin, African and jazz.
